There’s a vast choice since there’s a huge amount of typical dishes. To mention some: casonséi, pasta with salmì, trippa, mariconde soup, stew and polenta, stuffed pigeon, capù sensa ale, snails “a sbrunsù”, spit “alla bresciana”, persicata, bossolà, cookies from Brescia and strangolapreti.

The cold cuts and Valverde sausage, Valverde honeys and apple vinegar are also very famous.

Many famous wines to accompany the dishes and products: Botticino DOC and Botticino DOC Riserva, Capriano del Colle DOC Bianco/Rosso/ Rosso Riserva/Novello, Montenetto from Brescia IGT, Ronchi from Brescia IGT.


Your experience will start in the morning when, at CAST Alimenti, the cooking course focused on the preparation of typical local dishes will start.

After learning how to cook and prepare typical dishes, lunch will be served and you’ll be able to taste what you’ve prepared during the course, accompanied by wines of Strada del Vino.

After, the wine and food experience will be completed with a visit to the territory, allowing you to discover the city of Brescia or a town nearby.
