BambùBio company was founded by Marianna Ziliati. In 2014, after discovering a “new” food during a trip to China with her sister Cinzia, she established an edible bamboo plantation in Treviglio, near Bergamo.
BambùBio’s goal is very clear:giving the customer a good, healthy and incomparable product.
Our bamboo plantation consists of more than 2.000 plants, cultivated with organic products and with no pesticides and chemical agents.
The bamboo plant grows an edible and rich in nutrients shoot, but only during two months per year – March and May. During the other months, we grow other kinds of edible leaf bamboo, which can be used to prepare herbal teas, essences, excerpts or other products such as breadsticks, pasta and other bakery products also suitable for alternative food, all certified by BambùBio trademark.
