Donizetti Cake, a classic in northern Italy’s patisseries

The Panattoni family have two patisseries: La Marianna in Upper Bergamo and “Camponuovo” in Lower Bergamo. Here the territory’s tradition is guaranteed: Donizèt cake, Polenta and osei, dried fruit tart and the savoury selection including, in addition to local cheeses, the chicken sandwich, appreciated by many, as well as the Stracciatella ice cream that was invented here.
