The Frosio family’s gastronomic history has been characterised by a journey dating back one hundred years, beginning in the Imagna Valley with the restaurant Posta in Sant'Omobono Imagna, Bergamo. Over the years the Frosio business has expanded with the B&B "Soprailposta" in Sant'Omobono, the Michelin starred restaurant Frosio in Almè and the Hotel Petronilla, a boutique hotel in the heart of nineteenth-century Bergamo, where the team, led by Petronilla Frosio and Uta Wilmer, excels in the art of hospitality.

 

The inviting breakfast buffet offers dishes prepared with ingredients from the valleys of Bergamo: butter from Valtorta, cheeses from the Imagna and Seriana Valleys, fruit from the Brembana Valley, small fruits and berries from the Astino Valley and truffles from Bracca served with fried eggs. The yeast cakes, tarts and creamy desserts are all successful reinterpretations of tradition.

 

The East Lombardy breakfast offered by Petronilla Frosio is a rich SWEET-SAVOURY BUFFET combining the products and recipes of Bergamo’s Imagna Valley.
